8 benefits of reading
Today,
reading books is not so common hobby because of increasing importance of
digital devices. Unfortunately, there are less people who enjoy spending time
with a book. Here, we will focus on benefits you should take into account, if
you aren’t convinced of reading. At first, there is an impression that this
kind of activity requires big effort and time from you. However, if you choose
right book, the time will pass quickly.
1. Chilling out
Some studies claims that reading can help us to relax even better than walking or listening to music. Thus, it is well recommended to read at least 15 minutes per day.
2. Mental stimulation
A human learns all his life. Why is it so? People are used to say that learning proces doesn’t end definitely with high school or University graduation. And it is true because there are so many books which can expand our knowledge and stimulate our brain! If we read a book paper, we are supposed to have more brain activity than we did the same on tablet or smartphone. That’s why is better to read traditional books.

diverse vocabulary in our mind. One should think – how do we acquire so many
words during our life? Usually, people have an inclination towards using
specific vocabulary, characteristic for every person. That’s why it so
recurring. In order to learn new words (even in our native language), we should
read. Reading helps us to gain new words in context. This is the best, natural
way to order and broaden our vocabulary.

Practicing reading is an
ally of brain’s memory. It doesn’t matter that we don’t remember all the
details of the story. It is only a training, and with time we become better and
better. Especially, elderly people should take it into account because of the
deterioration of brain’s skills in older age.

A very encouraging reason to
pick up a book for children is to improve their imagination and creativity. Usually,
when we read, there are no photos, no sounds, only the words. It stimulates the
brain to create its own images and this is how we imagine characters, events
and places. Besides, books helps to wake up one’s creativity. If we didn’t
read, we wouldn’t have the ability of write own stories and invention’s
potential.

A book is a friend. This friend looks after our health. He cares about our concentration which actually is essential to learn and work properly.

Literature has wide range of topics. Sometimes it concerns daily life, love, friendship; on other occasions history, culture, medicine or even technology. Due to numerous issues which books present us, we are more likely to study it on our own.

fall asleep can really support you if you have problems with sleeping. It is
like a lullaby for a child. However, it opens different doors that lead us to
